All online classes are on Zoom. I offer regular drop-in classes, private one-to-ones and classes for small private groups and corporate yoga classes too.
STRETCH & STRENGTH WITH PRANAYAMA & MEDITATION
The Stretch or Stretch & Strength classes have elements of Vinyasa, Anusara and Hatha yoga with Pranayama (breathwork) and Meditation at the end to help soften the mind.
The classes will help to improve strength and flexibility which are both important. Over time you shall see a positive difference both in your mind and body. Pranayama will help calm the nervous system and help correct breathing. Meditation will help to still the mind helping to become more aware and mindful of ourselves.
RESTORATIVE YOGA WITH YOGA NIDRA
Restorative Yoga is a floor-based yoga class with restorative stretches lasting for 45 minutes ending with Yoga Nidra at the end for 30 minutes where you lie in shavasana and listen to a guided meditation, mentally following and visualising what is being said. ‘Nidra’ means sleep in Sanskrit. This is a guided meditation which helps you to relax consciously.
This is a very relaxing and calming practice, helping you to ground down as well as letting go of stress, insomnia etc.
PRE-NATAL (PREGNANCY) YOGA
These will be suitable for 2nd and 3rd trimester students. The class will incorporate stretch and strength with Pranayama, breathwork, and Meditation at the end to help soften the mind. The classes will help to decrease nausea, headaches, shortness of breath, lower back pain as well reducing stiffness in the hips and legs. Strength and flexibility will increase to help the endurance of muscles needed for childbirth.
