My road to yoga started when my mother took me to a yoga class back in 2007. I did not expect much but ever since my first class, I kept wanting to go back for more. Through yoga, my health and mind improved during a time where I suffered from chronic backpain and stress. The incredible sense of calm and lightness that I feel after every practice is what inspires me to want to teach and help others to feel the same.
I am currently studying Ayurveda which is more than a sister science to yoga. In the next few years, I aim to become an Ayurveda practitioner and yoga therapist. So far, I have completed the Yoga Alliance 200hr Anusara Elements training with Bridget Woods-Kramer at Triyoga. I am also trained in Pregnancy and Postnatal Yoga 85hr with Sally Parkes and have taken a yoga instructor’s course from S-VYASA University which is a yoga university based in Bangalore. I am currently taking a Youth Yoga Training Course (40hrs) by Nathalie Wilhelm, from this I will be able to teach ages from 10 years upwards.
